Concerts and Workshops

Internationally-acclaimed recording artist, singer/ songwriter Fran Avni has been delighting audiences at Festivals, Conferences, community centers, libraries, museums, synagogues and schools, and on radio and television for more than two decades throughout Canada, the USA and Israel.

Her lively concerts are participatory and involve children, teachers, parents and grandparents in fun, singable songs and engaging movement activities. Themes include Nature and Environment - (songs about animals, recycling, cooperation and caring for the world), Language Arts - (with lively vocabulary learning, verse creation and rhyming) and Developing Basic Skills through the Integration of Music into General Studies.

Underlying the lyrical, whimsical mix of catchy melodies and infectious rhythms is a wholesome warmth to all her presentations. With simple props and interactive songs, everyone becomes part of the performance.

Fran's latest offering includes concerts and workshops focused on Early Literacy with "I'M ALL EARS". Original, fun and fanciful interactive songs, chants and rhythms, help develop phonological awareness and prepare children for reading.
